Second Serve - A Tennis Now Blog

Second Serve

It wouldn't be such a bad thing to lose to a girl in tennis - real or virtual - when you're married to Steffi Graf.

In a new commercial for the Wii U application, Andre Agassi learns that he's not quite facing the level of competition he thought.
In the clever, humorous piece, Agassi is seen battling an unseen opponent through the video game's application that lets two players battle it out via an Internet connection.

Thoroughly beaten, Agassi sees an incoming phone call from wife Graf and proceeds to concede defeat and admit her superiority only to be informed that she's in Los Angeles shopping and was running late to their assigned play date.

Cut scene to a shell-shocked American mother and child staring at their TV at home with mom expressing disbelief as she utters, "I think you just beat Andre Agassi," and the daughter replying, "and he played like a little girl."
