Djokovic dispatched a tired and uninspired Nadal to reach the finals of Paris. He faces hometown hero, Gael Monfils (aka. Mr. Elastic) in the final.

What a ho-hum week it has been in Paris. Federer lost out in his 1st match. Safin bid adieu to professional tennis, Delpo hampered with yet another injury and Nadal, like Federer, left his game at home.  

One a side note, let's give a big hand for French guys who showed up to play and give the adoring public something to cheer for: Benneteau, Grosjean, Monfils, Tsonga etc.

We'll take Djokovic for the win.
