Kyrgios: Touching Exchange Was Career Highlight

Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios has won seven career titles.

Yet, Kyrgios cites a conversation with a fan rather than a championship run as a career highlight.

Kyrgios shared this image of a conversation he had with a fan following a 2019 US Open victory.

The fan suffers from alopecia, an absence of hair on the body, which is the same condition that afflicts Kyrgios' older brother, Christos Kyrgios.

Approaching the fan after the match, Kyrgios shared their touching exchange in an Instagram post today.

"I went up to him and noticed he was nervous and as I approached him he was a little insecure about his condition," Kyrgios posted on Instagram. "I told him my brother had the exact same condition and he lives a beautiful life, as soon as I told him this his eyes lit up and I could tell from that moment on he had a different outlook and he didn’t feel alone."

"One of my favorite moments in my entire career, blessed someone captured this moment," Kyrgios captioned the image.

Nick Kyrgios served as best man at brother Christos Kyrgios' wedding earlier this year.
