Out since the Miami Open due to a hernia, Daniil Medvedev is set to make his ATP World Tour return at the Geneva Open, which runs from May 14-21.
The Russian World No.2 Tweeted the news on Friday.
“Comeback on track!” he wrote.
Medvedev picked up a wild card to the event. The Russian, who became the ATP’s 27th World No.1 earlier this season and held the top spot for three weeks, joins Denis Shapovalov and Casper Ruud in the draw at Geneva.
He had the surgery on his hernia in early April, and has just recently returned to the court.
