The round of 16 is set in Paris, with the business end of the tournament set to commence on Sunday.

Here are some of the notable numbers from the first seven days of the Parisian Slam:

Number of Top-10 seeds that have reached the second week on the women’s side. It is the lowest number in Roland-Garros history and only the second time as few as one Top-10 seeds have made it through on the women’s side at a Grand Slam, with the other time being 2018 Wimbledon.

Top-seeded Iga Swiatek is the only women to have survived a difficult week for top seeds.

Number of games dropped by Daria Kasatkina in the first week. The Russian has dropped fewer games than any other player in the first week. She will face Camila Giorgi in the round of 16.

Number of American women that have made it through to the round of 16 in paris – Madison Keys, Amanda Anisimova, Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff and Sloane Stephens.

The lowest-ranked player and the only qualifier to reach the second week in Paris is Spain’s Berbabe Zapata Miralles. He is ranked 131 and had never previously been past the second round at a major.

Casper Ruud battled back from two sets to one down to defeat Lorenzo Sonego out on Court 14 on Saturday. The 23-year-old becomes the first Norwegian in history to reach the round of 16 at Roland-Garros with his win. He will face Hubert Hurkacz for a spot in the quarterfinals.

19-year-old Holger Rune has become the first Danish man to reach the round of 16 in Paris since Kurt Nielsen and Torben Ulrich 63 years ago.

Hubert Hurkacz is the only singles player to have reached the third round without dropping serve. The Pole has held in all 43 of his service games, saving 5 of 5 break points.

Teenagers that have reached the round of 16 in Paris – Coco Gauff (18), Qinwen Zheng (19), Leylah Fernandez (19), Carlos Alcaraz (19) and Holger Rune (19).
