Nick Kyrgios tuned up for Roland Garros teeing off on clay.
The 36th-ranked Aussie hit with buddy Andy Murray at Wimbledon yesterday, then hit Roland Garros hard on Instagram. Kyrgios bluntly declared the "French Open sucks compared to this place. Sucks."
Federer: Kyrgios Doesn't Deserve Suspension
"The fact I am here now and then have to go to Paris in a couple of days... French Open sucks compared to this place. Sucks,' Kyrgios said. "Absolutely sucks. Get rid of the clay man, who likes the clay? It is so, so bad."
Kyrgios' anti-clay comments came after his Rome implosion when the enigmatic Aussie was hit with a game penalty in the third set for swearing.
An irate Kyrgios chucked a folding chair on court, packed up his Yonext racquet back and yelled "I am f--king done!" as he walked off the court against Casper Ruud trailing, 6-3, 6-7 (5), 2-1.
Kyrgios' blunt assessment of disdain for the French Open could elicit a response from French fans when Roland Garros begins on Sunday.
