Zverev: Growth Game

Empowered by winning his third Masters championship in Madrid, Alexander Zverev continues his rise.

The Rome champion sees men's tennis growing, too.

Watch: Tall Talents Reshaping Game

Five of the world's Top 10 players—Zverev, Marin Cilic, Juan Martin del Potro, Kevin Anderson and John Isner—stand 6-foot-6 or taller.

The 6'6" German believes tall players will have a heightened presence in the future.

"I think tennis is getting bigger and more powerful," Zverev told the media in Rome. "And obviously, we all hit the ball, try to hit the ball very hard.

Of course, we're missing Andy and Novak a little bit in that top nine, as you said, because they've been injured a little bit and they're on their way back. So, we're missing Stan, as well. Who are all a little bit shorter than us, but ...

"I think, yeah, I think that's the way tennis is going. I think the young guys are all pretty big, all pretty powerful. And I think that's the direction the game is going."
