Caroline Wozniacki wishes for one more combined clay-court event—in a place she calls home.
The Australian Open champion, who owns an apartment in Monte-Carlo, advocates for a combined men's and women's clay-court event in Monaco, a popular tax haven for players.

"There is one tournament that I wish we had, as well, is the Monaco tournament because it's so amazing," Wozniacki told the media in Madrid. "There's a lot of players that live there, we train there. I wish there was a time in the calendar where we could play there, as well."
Madrid follows Indian Wells and Miami and precedes Rome as one of four spring events that feature both men and women players.
The world No. 2 says it's vital a venue offer enough practice courts for men and women to accommodate a combined tournament.
"We already have quite a few tournaments combined," Wozniacki said. "But I think we have some tournaments that we have tradition, kind of nice for us to go. The men have some of them, which is nice for them to go by themselves. I kind of like that balance.
"When we have the tournaments by ourselves, it's easy to get practice courts, all that. I think it's hard to find in every venue enough courts for both men and women."
