Watch: Serena's Red Clay Return

Grand Slam queen Serena Williams was a striking presence among royalty.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion attended Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s wedding at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, in front of about 600 guests.

The four-time Olympic gold medalist kicked off the high heels, laced up her Nikes and ankle braces and was back to work on Roland Garros' red clay.

Williams and coach Patrick Mouratoglou put in a training session at Roland Garros on Sunday ahead of her highly-anticipated Grand Slam return. Serena even showed off her one-handed backhand during the hitting session.

The 36-year-old Williams has not played a match since bowing to Indian Wells champion Naomi Osaka, 6-3, 6-2, in her Miami opener.

Williams has reached the finals in her last two Roland Garros appearances, defeating Lucie Safarova to capture the 2015 championship and falling to Garbine Muguruza in the 2016 final.
