Lleyton Hewitt's Roland Garros career is over before this month's French Open has begun.
The former world No. 1 will skip Roland Garros to concentrate on training for the grass-court season and Australia's upcoming Davis Cup tie against Kazakhstan, his manager, David Drysdale, said.

This is likely Hewitt's farewell season.
Australia will host Kazakhstan on a grass court in Darwin, Australia in the Davis Cup quarterfinals set for July 17-19th.
The 34-year-old Hewitt holds Australian Davis Cup records for most career wins (56-19), most singles wins (41-14), most ties played (39) and most years played (17).
