As the first week of the 2014 French Open nears its conclusion, Roland Garros has provided us with this upbeat and entertaining montage of some of the high points of the week.

Media Mash: Roland Garros Social Media Highlights, Day 6

It’s not all-encompassing, and it really has no regard for the storylines that moved the needle most on week one (top three seeds ousted before the round of 16 on the women’s side for the first time in the Open Era, Stan Wawrinka done in by Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, Benneteau and Bagnis play the longest set in Roland Garros history, etc…), but still it’s a cool video that is pretty much guaranteed to make your jaw drop more than once.

Come for the incredible point that Richard Gasquet played in the first set of his match against Carlos Berlocq, stay for Novak Djokovic taking his high tea with a French Open ball kid. Come for a wildly entertaining point between Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem, stay for Robby Ginepri tripping over his own feet.

Come for 18-year-old Taylor Townsend displaying remarkable athleticism and touch to win a point against Alize Cornet, stay for a shot of a little boy pumping his fist like one of his “big pro” heroes.

It’s 2:08 of light-hearted goodness, all topped off with a Monfils dive for the ages. Enjoy!
