Carla Suarez Navarro defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova for her first career title in the Portugal Open final today, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, and that was big news. But what was even bigger news to us is the way that Suarez Navarro celebrated her victory with G-U-S-T-O. The typically shy and seemingly introverted Spaniard went into full-on rage mode as she sprinted to her box and launched herself into the air before falling into their arms in jubilation (Go to :18 on the video to view).

What was the diffuculty level on that? Has to be ten, right?

Then she took the champagne (Go to :50) that the tournament provided her and proceeded to spray anyone and everyone in her vicinity, quite gleefully, might we add.

How much did this title, Suarez Navarro's first in six career finals, mean to her? Well, that is plain to see. Beautiful stuff from the Spaniard. We've always been a big fan of her game (love the one-hander and the clay goodness and her down-to-earth personality) but now we're H-U-G-E fans!
