31: Number of matches since Nadal’s last loss to a player outside the Top 10. He was upset by Gael Monfils of France, at the time ranked 16th, in the semifinals of Doha to start the 2012 season.

63: Number of matches since Nadal’s last loss to a player outside the Top 10 on clay. He was upset by then-No. 25 Robin Soderling 2-6, 7-6(2), 4-6, 6-7(2) in the fourth round at Roland Garros in 2009.
