Question: Question: "I’m a new a relatively new player and I think I approach and hit the ball very well. However, whenever someone hits the ball directly at my feet I can never hit a solid return. What can I do?"
- Marisa Eaves
Answer:
Answer: "A shot at your feet means you are probably at the net and in a defensive position. This is a very difficult situation but hitting a low volley can result in a solid return. The low volley should be aimed back at your opponent’s feet. Depending on where they are on the court, you might need to hit it short or a bit deeper if they are on the baseline."
