Video: Djokovic Kayaks for Crocs

It's been a busy week in Miami for defending champion Novak Djokovic.

Before beating Martin Klizan, 6-0, 5-7, 6-1, on Saturday night, Djokovic warmed up for the tournament kayaking the sometime crowded waters of South Florida.

A week after capturing his 50th career title in Indian Wells to surpass coach Boris Becker on the Open Era career title list, Djokovic reunited with both Becker and good friend and Davis Cup teammate Janko Tipsarevic at Crandon Park. Tipsarevic, who was sidelined for the entire 2014 season with a left foot injury, made his 2015 ATP debut.

Playing before a massive outer court crowd, Djokovic and Tipsarevic lost to Robert Lindstedt and Jurgen Melzer in doubles, but seemed to have a blast sharing the court together.

Djokovic took some time out to meet fans.

The top seed said he enjoys social media because it gives him an opportunity to interact with fans and show the fun side of his personality.

"This is one of the ways to give them back, not just on the court by playing good tennis, but also you interact with them and feed them with some video or picture content that would give them a different look at your personality," Djokovic said. "Not just what they see on the TV when you're playing tennis, but something else, to present yourself as a person."

"Everything has its borders, obviously, but I try to kind of post — most of the content I post is something that is fun, something that is different. You know, sometimes I have to show them that I'm working in the gym or on the tennis court, that I am preparing myself. But mostly some other fun stuff for people that I get to meet along the way."
