Former world No. 8 Janko Tipsarevic will finally make his return to the ATP Tour, pairing with compatriot Novak Djokovic to take part in the Miami Open’s doubles draw this week.
Tipsarevic, who has been out of action since October of 2013, has had two surgeries on a benign tumor on his left heel, as well as a bout with pneumonia.
Tipsarevic, with his wife Biljana, gave birth to a baby girl last January .
Now 30, Tipsarevic owns 256 career wins and four titles in singles. He has earned over $7 million in prize money.
Tipsarevic and Djokovic will square off against Robert Lindstedt and Jurgen Melzer in the first round.
