Kirsten Flipkens—what a goddess!

We’ve always known that the Belgian was an incredibly crafty shotmaker, but she really has appeared to step it up a notch here at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells this season.

Watch as the 33-year-old World No. 56 produces absolutely dazzling shotmaking to flummox Canada’s Eugenie Bouchard during her 7-5 3-6 7-5 victory on Thursday evening at Indian Wells.

The above shot, which will likely end up as the WTA’s shot of the year unless Agnieszka Radwanska suddenly comes out of retirement, wasn’t the only bit of magic that flipped off of Flipper’s racquet.

There was also this beauty.

And this one…

Flipkens will face Danielle Collins in the second round on Saturday at Indian Wells. Folks might want to get their popcorn ready for that one.
