Nick Kyrgios Withdraws from Indian Wells with Elbow Injury

Nick Kyrgios has officially withdrawn from this year's BNP Paribas Open. The 22-year-old has not played since the first week of February due to the injury to his right elbow. He split two singles rubbers against Germany in Australia's World Group first-round tie (losing to Alexander Zverev and defeating Jan-Lennard Struff). Earlier this season Kyrgios won Brisbane and reached the second-week of the Australian Open, losing in the round of 16 to Grigor Dimitrov.
