April is already a month of returns for Rafael Nadal.
Nadal will regain the world No. 1 ranking when the new ATP rankings are released on Monday and make his Davis Cup return next month.

The reigning Roland Garros champion has been named to the Spanish squad that includes Feliciano Lopez, David Ferrer, Pablo Carreno Busta and Roberto Bautista Agut.
Spain will host Germany in the April 6-8th quarterfinal contested on a portable red clay court built inside the Plaza de Toros bull ring in Valencia.
Alexander Zverev and veteran Philipp Kohlschreiber lead a German squad that includes Jan-Lennard Struff, Tim Puetz and Maximilian Marterer.
"This is very difficult for us, especially against Spain on clay," Zverev told DavisCup.com. "I heard Rafa is going to be playing and that's not easy, but look we have a very good team and after many years we have good doubles again so that helps."
The 31-year-old Nadal has not played since suffering a hip injury that forced him to retire in the fifth set of his Australian Open quarterfinal vs. Marin Cilic.
Nadal attempted to return in Acapulco and said he had been practicing for two to three hours a day, but suffered a leg injury that prompted his withdrawal.
New Spanish captain Sergi Bruguera says Nadal's participation depends on how he recovers from a leg injury that forced him out Acapulco, Indian Wells and Miami.
"Rafa is getting better, coming out of his injury and training more," Bruguera said. "There’s still a week and a half to start the games, and there’s time. I am not going to confirm anything about any player. I won’t decide my team until Thursday."
