The ATP and WTA’s top players are showing their support for Maria Sharapova. Both Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams have come out to publicly support the Russian after her surprise suspension rocked the tennis world on Monday.

“I obviously wish her all the best. I've known her for a long time,” Djokovic said in an interview with TMZ. “I feel for her with all that's happening and I just hope she gets out of this stronger.”
“I think like everyone else said most people were surprised and shocked by Maria,” Williams said at a press conference ahead of Tuesday’s World Tennis Day festivities at Madison Square Garden.
“Most people were happy that she was up front and very honest and showed a lot of courage to admit to what she had done and what she had neglected to look at in terms of the list at the end of the year,” Williams added. “It’s just taking the responsibility, which she was willing to do and ready to. I hope for the best for everyone in that situation.”
Support has also come from Sharapova's compatriot, Svetlana Kuznetsova. The Russian sent out a the following tweet, and suggested that people refrain from commenting on the story without the facts.
