Jennifer Capriati is back in the news this week; unfortunately not for a good reason.
Capriati's lawyer released a statement this week denying allegations that there is a warrant out for her arrest following an alleged altercation with ex-boyfriend Ivan Brannan at a Palm Beach, Florida, fitness club.
The North Palm Beach Police Department is reportedly seeking an arrest warrant after Brannan claims he was punched in the chest by Capriati, who will turn 37 later this month. The alleged attack occurred at the Oxygen Health and Fitness Gym and ended when a yoga instructor who witnessed the incident called police.
Prior to being inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame last July, Capriati had made waves when she was taken to the hospital in June of 2010 for an apparent drug overdose.
Another ex-boyfriend, Dale Dabone (do not Google his name if you know what's good for you), claimed the accidental overdose occurred because Capriati was depressed about leaving tennis and Dabone, an adult film star's, decision to return to the movie-making business.
