Dominic Thiem will take time to rest and recover following his run to a second straight Roland Garros final.
Thiem has withdrawn from next week's Halle tournament delaying his 2019 grass-court debut.

The tournament announced Thiem's withdrawal on social media. Thiem joins Kei Nishikori, who pulled out due to an upper right arm injury, in departing the field.
The world No. 4 is expected to be ready for Wimbledon, which starts on July 1st.
Despite Thiem's departure, Halle still boasts a formidable field including nine-time champion Roger Federer, Alexander Zverev, reigning champion Borna Coric, Karen Khachanov, Gael Monfils and David Goffin.
