Seeing is believing.
After seeing unseeded Amanda Anisimova end her Roland Garros reign with a 6-2, 6-4, quarterfinal sweep, Simona Halep says the 17-year-old American can win Roland Garros if she's successful in two areas.

Halep believes if Anisimova competes with the calm she showed today and focuses on playing each point rather than the result, she can beat Ashleigh Barty in the semifinals and go on to take the title.
"I think she has a big chance if she's playing like today without emotions and without thinking, like, about the result," Halep said. "She was pretty calm. She showed that she's able to do good things and big things, so I think she has a chance."
Miami Open champion Barty has been an American slayer scoring four of her five tournament wins over American opponents.
The eighth-seeded Barty beat 2018 semifinalist Madison Keys, 6-3, 7-5, to advance to her first Grand Slam semifinal.
Former world No. 1 Halep said Anisimova's aggression and knack for the bold strike are two of her best assets that make her unique. She showed both skills snapping Halep's 11-match Roland Garros winning streak with a clean backhand winner down the line.
"Well, it's tough to compare (Anisimova) with someone else," Halep said. "I think she plays really fast and aggressive all the time. She moves pretty well. She sees the game pretty well. So I don't want to compare. I think she's herself, and she's playing great tennis.
"I knew that she was going to play very well, but she played great today."
