Now that Andy Murray has chosen his doubles partner for Wimbledon (Pierre-Hugues Herbert), let the speculation begin on the next topic: Who will partner Murray in the mixed doubles draw at SW19?
Reportedly Murray has already talked to several women and he’s been shut down by all of them (Ash Barty gave him the "it's not you, it's me" chat at Roland Garros).
But Murray has never been one to quit, so we do expect him to find a partner by the time the draw rolls around at SW 19. Already, women’s tennis stars are starting to get wind of the fact that the two-time Wimbledon champion is in need of a partner.
Billie Jean King, four-time Wimbledon mixed champion, wants in. She hasn’t played in a while but she’s probably good to go.
Maria Sharapova has some interest as well...
Kirsten Flipkens would also like a shot to play with Muzzah.
And so would Barbora Strycova:
Even Bruno Soares wants a shot…
Stay tuned to find out who the lucky winner will be…
