David Goffin’s ankle injury is healing well, but the Belgian won’t be ready for Wimbledon. The World No.13 took to social media to announce that he’ll miss the grass-court season while he continues to rehab.

“Doctors are positive but I won’t have enough time to be ready for the tournament,” Goffin wrote. “I want to be 100 percent.”


Goffin injured the ankle in a freak accident during his third-round match at Roland Garros. While sliding at the back of the court he ran into the court cover and turned the ankle.
