"(They) spend a lot of money to come and buy tickets to come see me play around the world; I think that's so cool and so nice towards me," Federer says. "Tattoos on the body, I've seen that, the RF logo and stuff. I find that crazy.

"Just seeing people sort of break down in disbelief that they're finally in front of you... It's a beautiful feeling, but it's overwhelming for sure. But it's been a wild journey."

The 17-time Grand Slam champion, whose mother, Lynette, grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa and has helped his foundation launch educational programs in the nation, cites the late South African President and anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela as a major influence.

"Nelson Mandela was massive," Federer says. "My mom being from South Africa, everything (he's) done for the country. I would have loved to have met him, but unfortunately it never happened."

Asked to identify the most beautiful person he's met, the devoted father of two sets of twins names wife Mirka and an American supermodel as his favorite beauties. See the end of the video above for Federer's supermodel crush.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion also shares his favorite player, funniest player and his dream doubles partner, whom he's already joined forces with winning a championship.
