ESPN released its World Fame 100 Rankings last week, and tennis players populated the list quite heavily, as nine of the 100 players on the list were tennis players.

Tennis players were the fourth-most represented, behind basketball (20), soccer (17) and American football (16).

The rankings are built on a combination of salary, endorsements, social media following and Google search popularity.

Roger Federer topped all tennis players, coming in at No.5, while Rafael Nadal was second at No.10.

No. 1 on the list was footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. No. 2 was NBA star Lebron James, while footballers Lionel Messi and Neymar were third and fourth.
