Kyrgios Picks Dream Team

If Nick Kyrgios wasn't competing on the ATP Tour, he envisions himself playing in the NBA.

The world No. 18 is a former junior basketball standout and long-time hoops junkie.

McEnroe: Raonic Should Emulate Djokovic

In a Twitter Q & A he conducted today, Kyrgios was asked to select his basketball dream team from among his ATP peers.

Kyrgios chose one of the greatest leapers in ATP history, his buddy Gael Monfils, as well as one of the tallest players on tour, six-foot-10 John Isner, Jack Sock and Davis Cup teammate Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Remember when Kyrgios took on the high-flying Monfils in a game of one-on-one? Here's a reminder.

Kyrgios, who upset Roger Federer in Madrid last year and is winless in four career meetings with Andy Murray, called the two Grand Slam champions the best players he's ever faced.

The Australian No. 1 plans to reprise his doubles partnership with Halle finalist Alexander Zverev in the future.

Kyrgios, who partnered Daria Gavrilova to lead Australia to the Hopman Cup in January, says the pair are not planning to play a Grand Slam mixed doubles event this year. Though Kyrgios left the door open to joining forces with fellow Nike endorser Genie Bouchard in a mixed doubles major. They played together at the 2015 US Open.
