Wawrinka, Kyrgios to Square off in First Round at Queen’s
The stacked draw of the Aegon Championships at the Queen’s Club was revealed Saturday, and it’s loaded with #Popcorn matchups from top to bottom.

In one of the more notable first-round tussles, Roland Garros champion
Stanislas Wawrinka
was drawn to face last year’s Wimbledon breakout story
Nick Kyrgios
in Round One.
Federer Faces Trickier than Normal Halle Draw
It will be the first meeting of the 20-year-old Aussie and the 30-year-old two-time major champion.
Kyrgios, who lost to
Andy Murray
in the third-round at Roland Garros, came away impressed after watching Wawrinka’s colossal victory over Djokovic in the final. “Stan just played unbelievably,” he said. “He hits the ball massive, he doesn't really play with any fear so I can see some similarities but I think our games are a little bit different."
Top-seeded and three-time champion Murray will face a qualifier in the first round but things will quickly heat up for him as he faces either
Roberto Bautista Agut
or
Fernando Verdasco
in the second round and could face defending champion
Grigor Dimitrov
in the quarterfinals.
Fifth-seeded
Rafael Nadal
will face the always tricky
Alexandr Dolgopolov
in the first round and could face Wawrinka in the quarterfinals.
If the seeds hold, quarterfinal matchups at the Queen’s Club would shape up as follows:
[1] Murray vs. [6] Dimitrov
[4] Cilic vs [8] Feliciano Lopez
[3] Raonic vs. [7] Simon
[5] Nadal vs. [2] Wawrinka
