One way to make school more exciting for students — introduce Rafael Nadal as substitute teacher.

British school kids from the Oasis Academy South Bank in Waterloo on a field trip to London got a welcome surprise when Rafa showed up to play some mini tennis (watch the kid excitedly grab his buddy's arm when Rafa walks in about 17 seconds into the video above).

Fresh off beating Viktor Troicki in the Stuttgart to win his first grass-court title since the 2010 Wimbledon, Nadal traveled to Queen's Club for this week's Aegon Championships.

He helped conduct a clinic for kids, celebrating the LTA's British Tennis Schools Program, which provides resources and tennis education to schools and academies throughout the country.

"For me, I play with the kids, always it's a pleasure," Nadal said. "I have a foundation that tries to help as many kids as possible... I enjoy the chance I had to play with them today."
