Video: Nadal Wins Two Amazing Points after Falling Down
Rafael Nadal
had to work his tail off to defeat
Martin Klizan
in four sets on Day 2 of the Championships – literally! Watch as Nadal wins two of the most amazing grass court points we have seen at Wimbledon in quite some time. On each point Nadal takes a spill in the grass, only to recover in rapid fashion to eventually steal each point from Klizan. Perhaps not the most delicate grass-court footwork, but an A+ for effort, and off the charts in terms of determination and fortitude, for Nadal.

Federer Hits Tasty Dropper vs. Lorenzi on Day 2
Who does that? Who falls in the grass and gets back up at full tilt, continuing to play as if nothing has happened? Answer: Only Nadal. What tenacious, ferocious stuff from the two-time Wimbledon champion. It’s great news for Nadal and his fans that the Spaniard is more concerned with winning points and matches than protecting his body.
Much to the chagrin of a very in-form Martin Klizan, Nadal looks to be 100 percent committed to laying it all on the line at Wimbledon for the next two weeks.
But enjoy these videos of Nadal falling down while you can, because by week’s end Nadal, who ended a three-match grass-court losing streak with his Day 2 victory, should have his footing all figured out.
Watch out, Wimbledon.
