Kim Clijsters gets a proper farewell from her longtime clothing sponsor, Fila, in the form of a limited-edition collection that she'll wear at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open -- the latter being her final event as a pro.
"It means so much to me that Fila developed this commemorative collection in honor of my retirement," said Clijsters. "Wimbledon has been an important place for me since I was very young, and it was where I played my first exhibition before I officially returned to tennis in 2009. It is only fitting that I debut this collection on Centre Court."
The all-white collection features Kim's favorite silhouettes and are accented by gold trim, piping, and taping in the v-neck cap-sleeve top, the skort, and the matching French terry warm-up.
Our favorite of the matching accessories, which also include white-and-gold wristbands, is this white quilted duffle (above). The bag will be available for sale at fila.com starting in the first week of July.
A separate collection has been designed for her final tournament appearance, at the 2012 U.S. Open this fall.
Wimbledon: The unseeded Cljisters beat Andrea Hlavackova in the second round and will now face 12th seed Vera Zvonareva. (Draw: Women's Singles)
