The 28-year-old Kyrgios shared the new tattoo that completely covers his back.
Kyrgios, who swept singles and doubles titles in Washington, DC last August but withdrew from the tournament this week, recently completed his ink inspiration and shared the result on social media.
Devoted gamer Kyrgios captioned this shot on Instagram "POKÉMON GANG 4 LIFE 👑 HAD TO COOK UP SOMETHING CRAZY!!!!"
Noted Boston Celtics fan Kyrgios has long proclaimed he prefers team sports to tennis.
Kyrgios tuned up for his tattoo experience hanging with former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, who sports one of the most famous face tattoos of any public figure not named Phantom of the Opera.
The 2022 Australian Open doubles champion Kyrgios captioned his photo with Iron Mike Tyson "perfect chaos...something big coming."
Tyson, who has his own podcast, is a devoted recreational tennis player, whose daughter, Milan, is an accomplished junior tennis player.
Speculation has swirled Kyrgios will appear on Tyson's podcast Hotboxin with Mike Tyson or that the pair could join forces in a charity doubles match or form their own Pokemon posse or cook up a business partnership.
We'll wait and see.
