Alex de Minaur won't solo at the Paris Olympics.

Australian No. 1 de Minaur officially withdrew from Olympic singles due to the hip injury that knocked him out of Wimbledon. De Minaur does plan to play doubles in Paris alongside good buddy Alexei Popyrin.

The 25-year-old Aussie injured his hip completing a 6-2, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 Wimbledon win over Arthur Fils earlier this month.

That injury forced a devastated de Minaur to pull out of The Championships giving Novak Djokovic a walkover into the semifinals.

Great Britain's Cameron Norrie also withdrew from the Olympics today.

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner pulled out of the Olympics last week with tonsillitis. World No. 4 Elena Rybakina, who withdrew due to a bout with acute bronchitis, and Holger Rune are among the notable names who aren't playing Paris.
