Towering above his opponents, John Isner rains down aces like nobody else in tennis history. And the numbers bear that out.
On Friday at Wimbledon Isner made sure if it, hammering his 5th ace of the match against Jannik Sinner – and 13,729th overall – to pass Ivo Karlovic on the all-time list (Isner currently has 21 aces against Sinner after two sets, but Sinner leads two sets to love.)
The man who played the longest match in tennis history is now the ace king. Fitting.
