There wasn’t a lot of rain on Day 8 at Wimbledon, but there was more than enough to create some seriously dangerous playing conditions. Check out this ball boy taking a spill (above) when he tries to round a corner on the slick grass. Take another look at it here, and note the intensity in the young man’s eyes before he lets out a little smile.


Moments before there had been a debate about the slickness on the courts, which led to a break in play before the roof was closed. Before that, Serena Williams took this dangerous fall while approaching the net. Luckily, she was no worse for the wear.
