With Wimbledon barely in the rear view mirror, there was plenty of action of the ATP and WTA last week. In all, five players took home titles, but Pablo Cuevas was the only first-time title winner last week. He defeated Joao Sousa 6-2, 6-1 to claim the title in Båstad. Cuevas entered the Swedish city ranked World No. 111, continuing a comeback from knee surgery that sidelined him for the entire 2012 season. The Uruguayan was as ranked high as No. 45 in 2009, and won the men's doubles title at Roland Garros in 2008 with Luis Horna. For his efforts, which included defeats of Jeremy Chardy and Fernando Verdasco ahead of his win over Sousa, he soars 50 places to No. 61.

Fresh off of his his second title in a month, Roberto Bautista Agut makes his top 20 debut in the ATP World Tour Rankings this week. The Spaniard, who claimed his first career ATP World Tour title on the grass of 's-Hertogenbosch prior to Wimbledon, triumphed last week in Stuttgart after being pushed to the limits. Bautista Agut was forced to play three setters in three of his four matches in Germany, but managed to come out victorious each time.

On the women's side, two American women made headlines in a place where few countrywomen have traveled. Both Grace Min and Shelby Rogers had career weeks in Bad Gastein, Austria as Min advanced to the semifinals while Rogers contested her first WTA final. Rogers, a 21-year-old from South Carolina, defeated Carla Suarez Navarro, Camila Giorgi and Sara Errani before being defeated by Andrea Petkovic for the title. For their efforts, both inch closer to the top 100; Min rises from No. 138 to No. 114, while Rogers climbs from No. 147 to No. 104.

Behind her second title of the year, Petkovic returns to the world's top 20, climbing two spots to No. 18.

Lleyton Hewitt and Simona Halep also claimed titles last week, in Newport and Bucharest respectively, but saw little changes in their rankings. Hewitt climbs just two spots to No. 41, while Halep remains firmly at No. 3 in the WTA table.
