Sloane Stephens captured her second career title in Auckland last weekend. She took another career step signing a worldwide marketing and management agreement with IMG.
“I think that what IMG has achieved over the last two years is really dynamic and I am excited to join the company that has expertise across so many different platforms,” said Stephens. “While my main focus is winning on the tennis court, I have various interests and I know that my new team at IMG will help me achieve business results and maximize my talent.”

At the 2013 Australian Open, Stephens gained notoriety defeating Serena Williams and becoming the first American teenager since 2001 to reach the second week of a Grand Slam. The 22-year-old from Florida reached a career-high ranking of World No.11 in October 2013 and won her inaugural WTA tournament in Washington, DC last summer.
