To the victor go the spoils as China's Na Li rose to No. 3 in the first post-Australian Open WTA rankings released late Sunday.
Li is only 11 points shy of displacing Victoria Azarenka, last year's Open champion for the No. 2 spot behind Serena Williams, who is first by more than 6,000 points thanks to her dominant 2013 campaign.
Li and Agnieszka Radwanska both jumped over Maria Sharapova, who fell to No. 5. The rest of the top 10 remained intact with the exception of Caroline Wozniacki, who fell to 11th, supplanted by Simona Halep, who appears in the top 10 for the first time.
It's Wozniacki's first time outside the Top 10 since May of 2009.
Just outside the Top 10, Ana Ivanovic moved up two spots to No. 12, and surprising finalist Dominika Cibulkova rose 11 spots to No. 13, one off her career best attained in 2009 after reaching the French Open semifinals.
American Sloane Stephens slid five spots to No. 18 after losing a round earlier than last year, while Canadian phenom Eugenie Bouchard cracked the Top 20 at No. 19, rising 12 spots from No. 31.
Among those most notably headed in the wrong direction - American Venus Williams who fell 12 spots to No. 49.
