Former World No.1 and three-time major champion Angelique Kerber is expecting another baby.
The 37-year-old, who officially ended her comeback from maternity leave last year at the Paris Olympics, announced the news on Instagram.
Kerber, who gave birth to her first daughter Liana on February 25, 2023, returned to the tour in 2024 and won ten matches. She reached the quarterfinals at the Olympics in her last event, losing to eventual gold medalist Zheng Qinwen in a third-set tiebreak.
She spent 34 weeks at No.1 and won 14 WTA titles.
