Karolina Pliskova will miss out on the first Day of the Czech Republic’s Fed Cup tie with Switzerland due to a stomach virus. Instead the Czechs will sub in Barbora Strycova in Prague. Petra Kvitova will play the other singles rubber for the Czechs. The Czechs have won five of the last seven Fed Cup titles and remain the heavy favorite over the Swiss. Belinca Bencic and Viktorija Golubic will be in action in singles on Day 1 for the Swiss.
