The ATP Tour announced it is investigating "allegations of racial prejudice" during Ryan Harrison's contentious first-round victory over compatriot Donald Young at the New York Open on Monday night.
The ATP issued a statement saying it will review video and audio from the match which spiked with an argument between the former doubles partners, who also squared off in the 2017 French Open doubles final.

The 44th-ranked Harrison won the match 6-3, 7-6 (4) at the Nassau Coliseum that concluded with a barely-there handshake.
Young's girlfriend, Valentina Lee, claimed Harrison told Young "That’s what all you black people do" after Young celebrated a point.
In an interview with Tennis Now immediately after the match, Harrison did not detail the root of their rift, but took to Twitter later to strongly deny he made any racial taunt.
