During his run of eight straight games in the ABN Amro World Tennis Championships final in Rotterdam, Martin Klizan was basically in god mode, hitting out of his shoes at any ball in his strike zone and rarely missing as he took control of the final from a helpless Gael Monfils.

There were many worthy of Hot Shot status—but the ATP made the right call when they chose this one. Check out the running banana forehand from Klizan, which manages to kiss the outside of the line even though it seemed destined to be a meter wide.

The look on the Slovakians face says it all. He saved eight match points in two rounds to reach the final, and on Sunday he left it all on the court—and it paid off.

Klizan claimed the 6-7(1), 6-3, 6-1 victory for his fourth ATP title in four career finals.
