Tommy Haas is no stranger to battling back from injuries—he’s suffered a veritable plethora of them in the past—but that doesn’t make the process of getting the game in top notch form after a long layoff any more enjoyable. Clearly, as this video, posted by Haas last week proves, IT’S A PROCESS.
The 36-year-old said last month that he hopes to return from shoulder surgery by Indian Wells, but that he’s taking it slow. "Perhaps it will be a little tight time-wise,” he said, according to this piece from the ATP. “In case it doesn’t work out, then I will have to wait until April. I have to be patient, but I want to go out and compete again. That is the goal I have in mind, and I will give it my all to make it.”
Judging from the racquet toss, the right shoulder appears to be A-OK!
