After several months of speculation of who he might work with next, Wim Fissette is joining forces with former No. 1 Victoria Azarenka.

Azarenka posted this message on her Twitter account from Doha where she is preparing for next week's event there.
Fissette, who parted ways with Simona Halep at the end of last year, was expected to be picked up by an elite WTA player at some point. At the start of the season, he was to help coach Madison Keys before she decided to be coached by Lindsay Davenport and her husband.
Azarenka recently split with her long-time coach Sam Sumyk just after the end of the Australian Open. Sumyk is now working with Eugenie Bouchard.
The former No.1 is on the comeback trail after a tough 2014 season marred by injury. Currently, Azarenka is ranked No. 50 in the world.
