Dunlop has entered the golden age.

Two-time Olympic gold-medal champion Nicolás Massú has signed on as Dunlop brand ambassador.

Massu, a former Top 10 player and current coach to Dominic Thiem, joins Patrick Mouratoglou and Brad Stine as highly visible Tour level coaches representing team Dunlop.

“I am very happy to join the Dunlop family and to help with their mission of growing the game across the world,” said Massú. “We all know Dunlop as an incredible brand with a long tradition, but the investment they have made in tennis over the past three years has been extraordinary. As a coach and ambassador I hope to continue their growth.”

In perhaps the most memorable moment of his professional career, Massú delivered two gold medals to his home country of Chile in the 2004 Olympics.
Massú defeated Mardy Fish to win the singles gold and partnered compatriot Fernando Gonzalez to strike gold in doubles.

He also won six ATP titles and reached a career-high ranking of No. 9 in 2004. Massú began coaching Thiem in early 2019. The Austrian promptly won Indian Wells and Barcelona and completed his best ever year with an appearance in the final of the ATP Finals.

For his efforts, Massú was nominated as 2019 ATP Coach of the Year.

Massú will train with the Dunlop CX 200+ racket, strung with NT Max Plus string.
