The IPTL (International Premier Tennis League for those not yet in the know) has only been underway for one weekend, and already its establishing a reputation for a veritable gift that keeps on giving for highlight-hungry tennis fans who aren’t ready to go on tennis holiday just because the ATP and WTA have finished their seasons.

More IPTL: Kyrgios Raises the Roof in Manila with 'Tweener Deluxe

Yesterday we brought you Nick Kyrgios’s money ‘tweener lob against Andy Murray, which King Nick was kind enough to post on his Instagram page for fans. Today it’s time for some magical, mystical M-O-N-F-I-L-S.

Watch as LaMonf engages in a wicked rapid-fire rally with Malek Jaziri during the Micromax Indian Aces' 28-20 victory over the UAE Royals on Sunday. The two display some otherworldly volleying skills before Monfils sends Jaziri running for a perfectly placed rainbow lob. Much to the crowd’s delight, Jaziri keeps the point alive by backpedaling to chase it down, then making a pretty good smash.

All that’s well and good, but what isn’t good for Jaziri is that he lands on the seat of his pants after connecting on the smash, then does a backwards somersault before getting to his feet and looking in the wrong direction as Monfils’ backhand sails past him for a winner.

Elements of the sublime, interspersed with the type of slapstick that only Monfils can provide, make this shockingly fun point just another reason that the IPTL is quickly building a name for itself as a refreshingly fun and care-free tennis league (oh, and STAR-STUDDED to the max, which doesn't hurt one bit).

Hard to argue with that, right? As they say in Italian, "Che Bello!"
