The largely-free Fan Week (there were some ticketed stadium matches that required paid entry) saw an increase of 37 percent over 2023, the USTA announced today.
That record attendance puts the 2024 US Open on pace to achieve organizers' pre-tournament goal of eclipsing 1 million fans for the entire three weeks of the US Open.
Fan Week 2024 stats issued by the USTA today:
Over 2 million devices accessed USOpen.org and the US Open app during Fan Week.
Tennis Storm, the Minigame Box PVP Fortnite game created exclusively for the US Open, saw 3.5 Million players and over 430,000 matches played.
Fan Access Pass reached nearly 205,000 registrations and saw upwards of 233,000 total on-site engagements during Fan Week.
15,000 unique Marvel comic books and 10,000 Wilson youth tennis racquets were given away for free to fans.
Saturday's Arthur Ashe Kids' Day set an all-time attendance record of 47,875.
The US Open main draw begins today, Monday, August 26, and runs through Sunday, September 8.
