Matteo Berrettini is coming to Cincinnati!
The Italian has been resurgent in 2024, and is one of three ATP player to have earned at least three titles in 2024, along with Jannik Sinner (4) and Carlos Alcaraz (3). For his efforts, the former World No.6 has been granted a wild card into next week’s Cincinnati Open.
28-year-old Berrettini, currently ranked 41, is joined by Americans Marcos Giron, Reilly Opelka and Max Purcell.
Meanwhile, Cincinnati’s own JJ Wolf has received a qualifying wild card along with fellow Americans Mackenzie McDonald, Zachary Svajda and Brandon Holt.
Main draw play begins on Monday in Mason, Ohio.
