Stuck in the throes of a six-month slump, Canada’s Eugenie Bouchard has turned to 8-time major champion Jimmy Connors for some guidance ahead of this year’s US Open.

According to ESPN, A statement issued by Bouchard's management company Thursday said Bouchard and Connors have "no long-term plans at this time" for a coaching arrangement.

Connors coached Andy Roddick during his run to the 2006 US Open final and he also threw his hat into the ring, for all of one match, with Maria Sharapova in the summer of 2013.

The Canadian was spotted working with Connors on the practice courts by many a journalist today, but just in case you weren’t on Twitter, here’s a few pics and a video:
